Tausha Jensen, NP, APRN
Tausha obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Westminster College. She worked as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at St. Marks Hospital. In 2008, she earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the Westminster College with an emphasis on family nursing and was granted Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with honors and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the National Honor Society of Nursing.
Tausha joined Dr. Bindrup’s practice as his Nurse Practitioner in January 2012. As a board certified nurse practitioner, Tausha assists Dr. Bindrup providing post-operative follow-up care. Tausha is a representative of Dr. Bindrup, treating patients in the style and manner developed and directed by him.
In addition to Sigma Theta Tau, Tausha is a member of the Utah Nurses Association, the Utah Nurse Practitioner Association, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is Board Certified by ANCC as a Nurse Practitioner licensed in the State of Utah.

Shirley will be at your service for questions and concerns, coordinating patient-relation functions and business operations. She has worked for the practice since 1996. She holds a BS degree from the University of Utah in Office Administration and is now committed to doing everything possible to help your experience at the office be a positive and enjoyable one.
Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator
Kristina and Shirley job share as Office Manager. Kristina has been with the practice since 2009 and has several years of experience in office administration. Her goal is to ensure you receive the utmost quality in customer service while overseeing your individual needs.
Christy Joined our staff in 2018 working as our coding/billing specialist. She will work diligently with you and your insurance company to see that your procedures are properly pre-authorized for insurance benefits and to ensure your claims are properly paid. Christy will address your concerns and be an advocate between you and your insurance company to enable your maximum insurance benefits payable.
Jessica joined our office in 2001. She has an extensive background and knowledge of all procedures which will greatly contribute to your feeling confident and secure in the decisions you will be making. Jessica will work as your advocate both prior to, and following, your surgery. She is focused on making sure that each of your questions are answered in a professional manner and that your specific needs are met.
Receptionist and Scheduling
Mae’s will be the smiling face that will greet you as you enter the office. Mae is responsible for coordinating patient appointments and scheduling surgeries or procedures in the office. Her goal is to see that you have a positive and enjoyable experience as well as to anticipate and accommodate your individual scheduling needs.

It will be Kimi’s cheerful voice that greets you when calling our office. Kimi job shares with Mae in sharing receptionist duties and coordinating patient appointments. She is always readily available to help with any concerns you have and she strives to provide you with the personalized attention you deserve.
Kara Tesch / Kesley Laiwakete
Kara and Kesley serve as Medical Assistants in the office, working directly with patients overseeing pre-ops, answering questions or concerns, and reviewing procedures. They possess several years of prior inpatient phlebotomy experience. You will appreciate their professional manner to enable you to be knowledgeable and comfortable in preparing for an upcoming surgery.
