Nasal resculpting surgery essentially involves changing the parts of the nose that need improvement, and preserving the good qualities of the nose. For example, a large nose may have a bump on the bridge and a relatively nice tip. Surgery would involve "downsizing: the nose, taking away the bump, but preserving the appearance of the tip. Most noses can be treated with what's called a "closed rhinoplasty," that cleverly keeps all the surgical incisions inside the nose and out of view.
